Best Budget eBikes!
Not all of these ebikes made it to our "Favorite eBikes" list but they are great options and we things they are the best for each category listed below.
Andsky S700
Don't let the picture fool you. This is an average size ebike. Andsky is a name you may have never heard before. They are a small company and only produced two ebikes when we reviews the S700. But it turned out to be such a great ebike that we kept it almost a year. Its less than $1000 so it meets our Budget eBike Category. For a budget ebike, it still had a 16am battery which gave us great range. It's lighter weight than most and made it easy to handle. We also liked the low step thru design and folding handlebars. The S700 is just a great all around budget ebike.
Heybike Mars 2.0
The Heybike Mars 2.0 is a serious upgrade over last years model. The Heybike quality has improved a lot and the bikes are awesome. The motor is quiet and powerful and can get you up to speed quickly. The stock picture is not the true color of the bike, it looks much better in person. The Mars 2.0 comes in two configurations, the 750W with manual brakes and the 1000w with hydraulic. We tested the 1000w which slightly exceeds the budget for this category. However, the 750w motor comes in at $999 so we kept it on our list.
